Woodside Tree Consultancy’s owner and principle consultant is Andrew Southcott BSc (Hons) ACIEEM, an experienced and qualified arboriculturist and ecologist, with over 15 years experience of arboricultural and ecological roles.
Andrew has considerable experience and is a well-respected former Tree Officer having worked for several local authorities. This provides our clients with a valuable insight into council requirements for all tree-related planning & legal matters and offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to achieve successful outcomes. This is combined with experience of ecology roles including for Natural England.
Andrew holds a 1st Class Honours degree specialising in tree and woodland management as well as ecology, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
An experienced field surveyor, also holding a Natural England Class Licence for hazel dormouse surveying, Andrew is committed to excellence and professional best practice.
